Whether you need 1 tote or 1,000, we keep a deep inventory of graded, inspected IBC containers ready to ship. Sitting on empty totes? We buy all conditions — damaged, stained, or like-new — and pay on pickup.
A new 275-gallon IBC tote runs $250 to $400 depending on specifications. A reconditioned Grade A tote delivers the same performance at 40 to 60 percent less. For non-critical storage applications, Grade B and Grade C totes cut costs even further without sacrificing the structural integrity that matters — the cage is still welded steel, the pallet still rated for forklift handling, and the bottle still blow-molded HDPE designed for bulk liquid storage.
Beyond cost savings, buying used keeps functional containers out of the waste stream. Every tote we resell extends its service life by three to five years, displacing roughly 130 pounds of virgin plastic and steel that would otherwise be manufactured. It is the rare case where the cheaper option is also the more responsible one.
Three steps from quote to delivery. No minimums on pickup orders.
We maintain a rotating stock of 275-gallon and 330-gallon IBC totes in Grade A (one-trip, near-new), Grade B (light cosmetic wear, fully functional), and Grade C (heavier wear, budget-friendly). Every tote is photographed and graded before listing so you know exactly what you're getting.
Tell us the grade, valve type (2-inch butterfly, camlock, or ball valve), and quantity you need. We stock both food-grade HDPE bottles and standard chemical-grade containers. Need a specific previous-contents history? We track that too — ask about our chain-of-custody documentation.
Pick up from our Minneapolis yard at no charge, or schedule delivery anywhere in the Twin Cities metro. We offer same-day delivery for in-stock items ordered before noon. Regional shipping throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Dakotas is available via our flatbed fleet.
Turn surplus totes into cash. We buy all conditions — yes, even the beat-up ones in the back of the warehouse.
Send us photos or a brief description of your totes — quantity, approximate condition, previous contents, and location. We respond with a firm cash offer within two hours during business days. No haggling, no hidden fees.
Once you accept our offer, we schedule pickup at your facility. Our trucks are equipped with pallet jacks and liftgates, so we handle all the loading. We pick up anywhere in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro at no cost. Regional pickups are available for loads of 10+ totes.
We pay on pickup — by check, ACH transfer, or cash for smaller lots. No waiting 30 or 60 days for payment. For recurring sellers with regular volumes, we set up standing purchase agreements with locked-in pricing and scheduled pickups.
Every tote we sell is inspected, graded, and documented. No surprises. You know the exact condition before you commit.
Used once or lightly used. Minimal cosmetic marks. Clean interior, intact labels, all original hardware. Ideal for food-grade applications, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics manufacturing.
Moderate cosmetic wear — scuffs, minor staining, small dents in the cage. Bottle is structurally sound and leak-tested. Valves replaced if worn. Perfect for chemical storage, agricultural use, and industrial fluids.
Heavier wear, possible discoloration or staining. Cage may have bent bars. Sold as-is for non-critical storage, rainwater collection, construction-site use, or DIY projects. Best value per unit.
IBC tote pricing fluctuates with supply, resin markets, and seasonal demand. We publish general pricing ranges rather than fixed prices because we believe in giving you the real number, not an inflated list price followed by a "discount." Every quote reflects current market conditions, container condition, and order volume.
Volume pricing kicks in at 10 units and scales through 25, 50, 100, and full-truckload quantities (48 totes on a standard 53-foot trailer). Full-truckload buyers typically save 25 to 35 percent over single-unit pricing. We also offer standing contracts for businesses that need a steady supply — locked-in monthly pricing with guaranteed availability.
For sellers, our buy-back prices reflect the same transparency. We grade your totes on-site, confirm pricing to your face, and pay before we leave. Market conditions change, but our commitment to honest dealing does not.
Cracked bottle? Bent cage? Missing valve? We still want them. Totes that are too damaged to resell get routed to our recycling operation where the HDPE, steel, and wood are separated and processed individually. Nothing goes to landfill.
Totes with moderate damage often qualify for our cleaning and reconditioning program, where they are restored to a sellable grade. Even totes with hazmat residue have value — we handle the proper cleaning and documentation so the materials can re-enter the supply chain.
If you have IBCs taking up space at your facility, there is no reason they should sit there. Whether you have 5 or 500, call us for a free on-site assessment and same-day quote.
The used IBC tote market is driven by three primary forces: virgin HDPE resin pricing, seasonal industrial demand, and regional supply concentration. When new resin prices climb — as they do during petrochemical feedstock shortages or hurricane disruptions along the Gulf Coast — the price of new IBCs rises accordingly, which pushes more buyers toward the used market and tightens supply of quality reconditioned totes.
In the Upper Midwest, demand peaks twice per year. Spring brings agricultural buyers stocking up on totes for fertilizer, herbicide, and seed treatment storage. Fall drives a second wave from food processors handling harvest-season volumes of syrups, oils, and juice concentrates. Between these peaks — typically December through February and July through August — prices soften and inventory selection is at its widest. Buyers who can plan ahead save 10 to 15 percent by purchasing during these off-peak windows.
For sellers, the best time to liquidate surplus totes is during the spring and fall demand peaks when our buy-back prices are highest. However, we purchase year-round at competitive rates because maintaining a steady supply is critical to our operation. If you are sitting on totes and wondering whether to wait for a better price, call us — we will give you an honest assessment of current market conditions and whether holding makes sense for your situation.
When new resin exceeds $0.70/lb, used tote demand spikes 20–30% as manufacturers seek cost alternatives.
Spring planting season (March–May) drives the highest demand for Grade B and C totes in the Midwest.
Minneapolis sits at the intersection of food processing, chemical distribution, and agriculture — creating a deep local supply pool.
Rising diesel prices increase the cost advantage of buying local used totes vs. shipping new ones from manufacturers.
Tightening landfill restrictions in Minnesota push more end-of-life totes into the resale and recycling pipeline.
Four structured programs designed for different buying volumes. Lock in pricing, guarantee availability, and simplify your procurement process.
If you sell totes to us and know other businesses with surplus IBCs, our referral program rewards you for connecting us. Every successful referral — meaning the referred seller completes at least one transaction with us — earns you a credit applied to your next sale or purchase.
Referral credits are $5 per tote on the referred seller's first transaction, with no cap on the number of totes or referrals. If you refer a facility that sells us 100 totes, that is a $500 credit. Credits can be applied to future tote purchases at a 1:1 dollar value, used to offset cleaning or transport fees, or paid out as cash upon request.
Participation is simple: provide the contact name and business of the potential seller, and we handle the outreach. When they complete their first sale, your credit is applied automatically. There is no enrollment form, no expiration on credits, and no limit on how many sellers you can refer. Several of our most active referral partners earn $2,000 or more per year simply by mentioning us to colleagues in their industry.
Give us the name and business of someone with surplus IBCs. We do the outreach.
When the referred seller completes their first transaction, your credit activates.

Our grading goes far beyond a quick visual glance. Every tote is evaluated against a standardized checklist of criteria. Here is exactly what each grade means across every inspection point.
Clear or near-clear HDPE with no yellowing, hazing, or UV discoloration. Translucent enough to gauge fill level visually.
No visible residue, staining, or odor. Passes white-cloth wipe test with zero transfer. Suitable for food-grade use without additional cleaning.
No scuffs deeper than 0.5 mm, no gouges, no heat marks, no abrasion patches. Surface texture is uniform and factory-original.
Passes 2.5 PSI pressure test with zero deformation. No stress cracking, crazing, or wall thinning at any point. Minimum wall thickness of 3.0 mm maintained throughout.
Original factory valve in full working order. Handle operates smoothly with no stiffness or play. Gasket shows no compression set. Zero drip at rated pressure.
Cap threads cleanly with no cross-threading damage. Cap gasket is pliable and undamaged. Fill port rim is round with no warping or impact damage.
No bent bars, no broken welds, no missing cross-members. Galvanizing or powder coat is intact with less than 5% surface rust. All corner castings present and square.
All deck boards intact and firmly attached. No split or cracked runners. Forklift entry channels are clear and dimensionally correct. Load rating label legible.
Original manufacturer data plate present and legible (date of manufacture, UN rating, capacity). No conflicting product labels from previous use.
Documented single-use history with known, non-hazardous contents. Chain-of-custody paperwork available. No residual odor from previous product.
UN 31HA1 marking legible and valid. Tote is within its 5-year retest period or has been retested and re-certified. Suitable for regulated transport.
Light yellowing or hazing acceptable. Minor UV tinting that does not compromise structural properties. Fill level may require a flashlight to gauge.
Light staining acceptable if non-transferring. No loose residue or particulate matter. May have faint odor from previous contents that does not transfer to new product.
Moderate scuffing, minor gouges up to 1.5 mm depth, light abrasion patches. No through-wall damage. Surface imperfections are cosmetic only and do not affect containment.
Passes 2.5 PSI pressure test. Minor stress whitening at corners or near valve is acceptable if wall thickness remains above 2.5 mm. No active cracking.
Valve may be original or replaced during reconditioning. Operates fully with no leaks. Minor cosmetic wear on handle or body acceptable. New gasket installed if original shows wear.
Cap threads and seals properly. Minor thread wear acceptable. Cap gasket replaced if needed. Fill port rim may have light impact marks that do not affect seal.
Up to 2 bent bars allowed if they do not compromise stacking or forklift handling. Surface rust up to 15% of cage area. All structural welds intact. Corner castings may show impact wear.
Minor deck board splitting allowed if board is still structurally sound. Repaired boards acceptable. Runners intact with no cracks that would fail under load. Forklift entry clear.
Previous product labels removed or covered. Manufacturer data plate preferred but not required. Our reconditioning date stamp applied.
Known previous contents documented. May have held non-hazardous chemicals, food products, or industrial fluids. Cleaned per our standard protocol before sale.
Chemical storage, agricultural products, industrial fluids, non-potable water, general bulk storage. Not recommended for food-contact without additional food-grade cleaning.
Significant yellowing, hazing, or opacity. Black UV-resistant bottles included in this grade regardless of other condition factors. Visual fill-level gauging may not be possible.
Moderate staining expected. May retain residual odor. Sold as-is — not cleaned unless cleaning is purchased as an add-on service. Buyer should clean to their own standard before use.
Heavy scuffing, deep gouges, heat marks, and abrasion patches. No through-wall penetration — bottle still holds liquid. Cosmetic appearance is rough.
Holds liquid without leaking under static conditions. May not pass formal 2.5 PSI pressure test. Not recommended for pressurized or transport applications. Suitable for atmospheric storage only.
Valve may be worn, stiff, or replaced with a basic plug. May drip under pressure. Buyer should plan to replace valve for any application involving repeated dispensing.
Cap present and threads. Seal may not be watertight in inverted or pressurized conditions. Fill port rim may be warped or chipped.
Multiple bent bars possible. Surface rust may exceed 25%. Welds may show cracks in non-structural locations. Cage provides basic containment but may not support full double-stacking loads.
Functional but visibly worn. Cracked or repaired boards, nail pops, and runner damage may be present. Forklift handling is possible but requires operator attention.
Previous labels may remain. Manufacturer data plate may be missing or illegible. Our Grade C tag is applied with sale date.
May be unknown or partially documented. Buyer assumes responsibility for determining suitability for intended use. Hazmat-residue totes are flagged separately and sold only with disclosure.
Rainwater collection, construction-site containment, non-critical storage, DIY projects, garden irrigation, ballast, and secondary containment. Not for food, pharmaceutical, or regulated transport.
Five ways to get your totes from our Minneapolis yard to your facility — choose the option that fits your timeline, budget, and equipment.
Drive to our Minneapolis yard and load totes yourself or with our forklift assistance (free). Bring a truck, trailer, or even a minivan for a single tote. We load with a forklift at no charge during business hours. No appointment needed for pickups of fewer than 10 totes — just show up. Larger pickups should be scheduled 24 hours in advance so we can stage your order. Payment is due at pickup via cash, check, or card.
Our box trucks and flatbeds deliver throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. Free delivery on purchases of 4 or more totes. For 1–3 totes, a flat delivery fee applies. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before noon on business days. Our drivers carry pallet jacks and can deliver to ground level — no dock required. Liftgate service is standard on box truck deliveries. We place totes exactly where you need them within reasonable ground-level access.
For buyers in greater Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Dakotas, we ship on our own flatbed trucks. Orders of 12 or more totes ship direct on a dedicated truck with 2–3 business day lead time. Smaller orders are consolidated onto weekly regional routes covering Rochester, Duluth, St. Cloud, Eau Claire, and Sioux Falls corridors. Regional delivery pricing is quoted per load based on distance and tote count — we provide a flat rate before you commit.
A standard 53-foot flatbed trailer holds 48 empty totes double-stacked, or 24 totes single-layer if filled. Full truckload shipping offers the lowest per-unit cost for large orders. We handle all load securement per FMCSA 393.100 standards — strapping, blocking, edge protection, and placarding if required. FTL shipments go anywhere in the continental United States via our trucks or trusted carrier partners. Transit times range from 1 day (regional) to 5 days (coast-to-coast). All FTL shipments include cargo insurance and load documentation.
For mid-size orders going outside our direct delivery range, we palletize and ship via LTL freight carriers. Totes are shrink-wrapped to pallets and classified as NMFC 46050 (plastic containers) for accurate freight class rating. We handle all BOL preparation, carrier booking, and tracking. LTL is cost-effective for 4–20 tote orders shipping beyond our regional delivery zone. Typical transit is 3–7 business days depending on destination. Residential and limited-access delivery surcharges may apply — we disclose all fees before booking.
